Prized Possessions.

Hello.

Since I have an iPod, I now read books in PDF format, because 1) I don't have to pay a cent and 2) It's not heavy. But still, I miss the feeling of actually being able to hold a book on my hands. To me, holding a book on my hands means that I'm actually doing something in my life right now, and that is to read and hopefully gain more knowledge. It doesn't necessarily have to be the kind of knowledge that might potentially get me a Nobel Prize. Maybe I'll learn to make better sentences from lines of a certain story book. Or maybe I'll learn moral values and not make the same mistakes as the character in the book. The life experiences that these fictional characters have endured might give me the realization to be wiser than I was before.

It's sad that books nowadays are too expensive to bear. Books are a medium for people to express themselves. Books make people happy. And I wonder why we have to pay for something that makes us happy. Shouldn't knowledge be spread and shared equally?

Then again, life revolves around people doing business with each other. This is just a way for me to convince people to just give away free books. They'll make one girl very happy. And who knows, maybe they'll even make two girls happy. Or better yet, the whole wide world.

Now Reading : The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. I'm loving Charlie and I wish that he's real.
