Bicycle Lessons

Last night's 'buka puasa' outing was probably one of the best ever. You've never realized that you've got a really outgoing bunch of relatives until you've really hung out with them and just enjoy your time. I was at my Aunt Zurina's house in Shah Alam for 'buka puasa'. They really outdid themselves with the furniture and stuff. In other words, their house was awesome (: Later in the night, we did our Isyak and Tarawih prayers and the kids hung out at the playground just outside the house. We played faux football (as i would say it) because i actually wore my wedges and kicked a ball. It was crazy but tons of fun though. Then my 12-year-old cousin took out her bike. And i made up my mind to learn to ride a bike.

Yes, it's true.
I can't ride a bike.
At least, not really.
And yeah, i think that's
kinda my one and only 'Big Secret'.

I know, my cousin said, "It's not weird and not a big deal.". It's true that there's nothing to feel ashamed about not knowing how to ride a bike. But seriously? I'm gonna be 17! And i still can't handle a two-wheel? That's just plain lame. And embarrassing. So anyway, my petite cousin was holding on to the bike while i tried unsuccessfully to keep my and the bike's balance. and i hit my ankle - hard - twice. Still, i kept going and i got the hang of it after a lot of tries. But i wasn't the champion of de tour or anything. Well, obviously.

So after awhile i had to go home. I thanked my cousins for helping me and i will definitely ace this mission. I'll become a pro!! (:
