"She looked amazingly gorgeous. Stunningly breathtaking. Here's to forever and always."
This hit the news yesterday :
'Kim Kardashian to Divorce Kris Humphries After 72 Days of Marriage'
What? How? Why?
Questions came pouring in. But answers aren't definite. And rumours just kept piling. Some say that Kris couldn't handle Kim's popularity. Or maybe Kris just partied hard most of the time and left Kim pining for his nonexistent love and care. It could've been the fact that the marriage was just a publicity stunt to boost Keeping Up with the Kardashians' ratings through the roof.
Who cares, right?
Well, some people do care. It was shocking because Kim decided to marry a man she barely knew but it wasn't so shocking when the marriage ended so fast. Celebrity marriages are so amusing most of the time, we can't help but watch them crash and burn. Marriages are like a trend nowadays. And people aren't even doing it because of love anymore. It is to that extent, why brief celebrity marriages are brief. Pretty actress and handsome actor doesn't necessarily scream WE ARE FOREVER. It only means WE WERE FOREVER, BUT THEN IT JUST DIDN'T WORK OUT.
Reality shows do not delve into reality that much, but from the show, Kris reminds me of rude, selfish douchebags most of the time. But I can't judge him through edited clips of a reality show. The only thing that's real about this family is their money. They're stonkingly rich to the bones. But people don't get respect just because they can afford Rolls Royces. But anyway, whoever paid for Kim's Fairytale Wedding can go and jump off a cliff any day now. How wasteful was that wedding you ask? Well, the entire project reportedly cost $20 million. Neither Kim nor Kris paid a CENT. How typical.
When I was typing the title of this post, I wondered if this marriage would even be a page long. I mean, how many sentences would it have to describe this 'tragedy'? Kim married a man no one knew she was dating. It was a fairytale wedding, with a lavish setting and everything is expensive. They said their 'I dos'. A few months later, 72 days to be exact, the two filed for divorce, citing fraud as the reason for said divorce. And that is the end.
I knew it was only gonna be a few sentences long. But that is what I would have written. Haha.
From intercourse videos, to nude photos, to short marriages, what else will come into Kim's life in the future? Hopefully, a private life and a real, long-lasting relationship.
