Impropriety

A tweet I found recently:

Wise people told us not to judge anybody, and that we should treat everybody with equal amounts of respect and kindness. But when I found this photo, oh screw you, wise one. Justin Bieber, the teenage boy who blossomed right in front of the public eye. He who hogs the spotlight most of the time, screaming fans cheering for him more often than not. "Don't hate him because you don't know him. Trust me, he's one of the kindest, sweetest and most polite guys I've ever met."

Aduhai, Justin. Kau banyak peminat. Banyak sangat, lebih banyak daripada yang sepatutnya, even. Tengok apa kau dah buat. Budak2 ni semua, mereka dah anggap kau macam Prince Charming dah. Setiap hari duduk terperap kat dalam bilik, hoping and praying that they could catch a glimpse of you in concert. A glimpse je, bukannya nak minta lebih pun. Kalau nak harap boleh jumpa kau pun, macam impossible tahap babeng. To them, kau macam lelaki idaman that could never do anything wrong. To their eyes, kau ibarat sekuntum bunga yang teramat indah rupanya, sehingga sesiapa yang look at even an inch of you will pass out immediately.

Tapi, kau tak dapat nak convince aku lah. Minta maaf, walaupun kau telah meracuni kepala majoriti orang yang aku kenal with your 'charm' and singing voice, kau tetap takkan mengubah persepsi aku terhadap kau. Dari dulu pun aku anggap kau biasa je, a mere singer out of a sea of amazing singers. Sebab kau ni famous sangat pun aku tak faham langsung. Yelah, aku nak buat apa? Buat tak peduli je lah.

Last time I checked, polite people don't raise their middle finger to anyone, especially to guys with cameras that could take pictures of you and may potentially post those heinous photos to gossipy sites. And in Justin's case, they did.

Justin, aku tahu lah kau marah. Tak salah kalau nak marah, memang paparazzi adalah sekumpulan orang yang berhati busuk dan suka mengganggu kehidupan selebriti macam kau ni. Tapi, tolonglah taruk jari-jemari kau tu kat tempat lain. Dah la kau ada image to protect, last2 kau bagi kat dia orang, lagilah teruk situasinya. Habislah publicist kau nak kena komen kat semua pihak media yang serbu dia sebab perbuatan tak senonoh kau tu.

Kenapa, oh kenapa kau berbuat demikian, Justin? Baby, baby, baby no!

Tu lah, kau orang. Aku dah cakap dah, dia tu bukannya apa sangat. Ni ha, aku bagi bukti yang aku rasa cukup sahih untuk kau orang. Sweet lah ya dia, bagi jari dia kat orang. Memang 'giving' sangat kan? Lain kali dia bagi kaki dia pulak, jangan malu untuk bagi gambar2nya kepada aku. Mesti best lah tengok dia struggle dengan orang2 camera tu. Entah2 bukan kaki je yang dia bagi. Wah, Justin is such a charitable person!

Kau couple dengan si Gomez tu, dah ada 3D concert movie, dah tour around Asia, 2 successful albums sold worldwide, kau ingat kau hebat sangat ke? Kau belum reach the legends lagi. So aku nasihatkan kau supaya jaga jari kau tu baik2. Janganlah jadi terlalu pemurah sangat. Kadang2 tak elok juga.

I'll forgive you this time, but I still have no respect for you. Bukannya kau kisah pun.
