What makes Korean dramas popular? Is it because of their funky fashion trends? Or the OTT hairstyles that Korean guys sport nowadays? Personally, I don't really get it. I mean, what sets them apart from other dramas? I guess I can figure it out by now, though my opinion will of course be distinctive than some people.

Korean dramas have twisted plots and very dramatic story lines. And although they can be too long sometimes, we can't help but feel engaged to the story, maybe because the lead actors look cute together as a couple or the scenes are quite awesome most of the time.

But, I don't know. Maybe they're popular because the actors happen to be pretty good looking.

Malaysians, teens especially, are common victims to the Korean dramas as they are always aired here. The teens, mostly girls (okay, maybe all of them are girls), would put pictures of Korean boys in their blogs and say how cute they are. Although I'm not one of these people, I know how they feel. I would put pics on my blog too, but not Korean boys. I mean, the only Korean drama i watched was Full House. I love Rain, but it wasn't in my interest to post pics of him and gushing about how hot he is (even though he is undeniably gorgeous, HAHA).

Well okay maybe I watched this other show called Crazy Wild Girl but that was before I became inseparable with the Internet. I wasn't blogging then. And along came Animax. This year they decided to air Korean dramas and Princess Hours is one of them. I can see why people are obsessed with KDramas because I am too! Well only to this particular show anyway.

I even know some Korean words.

Jeonha means Crown Prince I think. And oppa means brother. I know other words but I'm too lazy to put them here, HAHA.

Maybe what makes me drawn to Princess Hours ( or Goong, as that's what it's called internationally) is the story line and the comedy. The hilarious antics are well put together and they are seriously funny. It's not a bad thing that the hero's a total hottie either (:
