Aidilfitri Is On Its Way

Gosh, it's a few days short of a month of Ramadhan already! And now, we'll brace ourselves for new clothes, fun family get-togethers and lots of rendang and good food. Aidilfitri will not be waiting for long. There's just one more day of fasting and then Raya will come shining its glory month of joy and merriment ahead of us.

I don't think I'm quite ready for it.

I know it's completely crazy, but it's only because that meant that the SPM trial is getting closer by the second. And I am soooo not ready.

I'm only blaming myself. I've spent three days at home with nothing but tv and late-night internet surfs. Really, it's becoming a habit of mine that I go online late at night just cos my parents will glare darkly at me whenever I go online in their presence. So, what I do is while they sleep soundly, I turn on the computer and write this and do other stuff too.

Clever, huh?

Well, it's not that brilliant as I haven't studied in quite a bit of time. And it's 2 weeks before trial. I am so dead. But I said to myself that I'm taking this situation as calmly as possible and that I can ace my exams. It would certainly work, but the problem is I can't even take myself seriously. Honestly, I'm really bad at giving self-motivation.

Please kill me, but I can't help but watch Princess Hours in the Net. It's the worse time to be engaging in a horrible obsession because instead of reading revision books, I'm watching a show about a commoner forced to be married to someone who she loves not, and who happens to be the Crown Prince of her country.

Okay okay, this is the last time I'm going online at midnight. Today I'll be headed to Perak for this festive month. Unfortunately for me, when I get there, I'll probably have to listen to the torturous singing of a certain girly-voiced dude namely Justin Bieber. So I won't be getting a good night's sleep. Sigh.

Have a Happy Aidilfitri, which I know I won't be having.
