Vampires Suck

This just in.

well, just as i was about to turn off the computer and lie to everyone that i would be studying (helloooo it's SUNDAY), i saw someone favourited a movie trailer called Vampires Suck. it is, you guessed it, another one of the stupid parodies from the writers and producers from the likes of Scary Movie and Date Movie. and by stupid i mean AWHSUMM because The Twilight Saga (duh, obviously it's about this certain franchise) is starting to get on my nerves. don't get me wrong. the books are amazing, but the same cannot be said about the movies. the chemistry between the two leads are beyond apalling and that's the most important thing when making a romantic vampire movie (seriously, if there really is a genre for Twilight, kill me!).

so, vampires are overrated because of Twilight. blame the franchise for everything, i insist.

but i can't say that vampires totally suck. i mean, of course it's really horrible that vampires might kill you from their excessive blood-sucking habit but come on. from what i've seen on tv (NOT Twilight) vampires are cool. literally. because they're cold-blooded.

okay, moving on.

examples of awesome vampires are the one in Angel, Vampire Diaries and True Blood. those guys are HOT. as i said before, NOT Twilight. i am done with that overrated piece of nuisance. anyway, if you ask me, i'm not much of a fan of parodies because they a) waste some precious amounts of our time for their ungodly irksomeness and b)are not very good movies and 100% imitative, clichéd and unoriginal.

but for some unknown reason (and please don't ask me why);
i watch them anyway. some people would say it's because of 'research' so i'm using that excuse too for my own good. so anyway, parodies are, shall we say a complete nonsense because really, do we need another one of those movies that satirize Britney Spears? they are funny (well, some of them) but you can only listen to a joke once in your life. repeating the same shaggy dog story will only make us snore rather than laugh. to be fair, fortunately Vampires Suck only focuses on vampires (also, dancing werewolves) and teenage romance more than anything else so i'm gonna give this movie a try.

Ergo, the Twilight movies (the books are great) are atrocious and let's hope Vampires Suck doesn't particularly suck. after all, the movie is 'from the guys who can't sit through another vampire movie'. HA. nicely done.
