Teenage 'Idols'

Now, i actually get why the Academy Awards and others like it exist. It is to separate the great, good, okay and the totally substandard actors of our time. Well okay, a lot of good actors that i know have not won an Oscar yet but just by watching movies, we can already tell if an actor's performance excelled beyond his standards or is just ghastly.
For starters, i don't get why Vanessa Hudgens is even considered as an actress. She is pretty, yes, but that's it. She's nothing more. I know, it's very sad when you say to people that you "act and sing" because you're not the only one who does, and you're not the best there is. You're just...average. Vanessa is not the only one; there are a lot of worthless people out there who call themselves actors. It's a disgrace for people who work in the entertainment industry. Her significant other, however can be regarded as a good actor.

Zac Efron has proven to the world that he actually can act. But before this, he is famous for starring in the completely overrated High School Musical franchise, which was both a good and bad thing for him. The good thing is the publicity he got for playing a role in a Disney movie. The bad thing is that he'll always be remembered as the guy who acted in High School Musical, which means that people won't take him seriously. Forget the HSM shit; he's far more proficient than that. He's also ridiculously HOT now.

And i think i speak on behalf of sane people out there; why is Justin Bieber so damn popular?? I'm still researching the power he has on little girls and hormone-enraged teenagers. He makes them all googly-eyed. He is a decent singer but other than that, why is he even famous?! Bieber doesn't even pass as a 14-year-old, and his song "Baby" (the music video had garnered the most viewers on YouTube, phuck those stupid females) is utterly futile. I mean, even Lady Gaga's songs have more meaningful lyrics! Stay outta the limelight, if you will, Bieber. If not, I'll make you do it. And it WILL be easy, HAHAHA.
