Jake Gyllenhaal

The fact that i lovelovelove Jake Gyllenhaal is no secret. well, at least it's no secret to Syazana, Mai, and my sister. there came a point when i was SO obsessed with this dude that my sister put her hand on my mouth and said "STFU about Jake or i'll shove my foot down your throat!" and then she started humming tunes from her iPod. so what i did was talk MORE and MORE about the hottie to aggravate my sister to maximum heights.

because that's what older sisters do. HAHA.

really, all i can say is that Jake is one megasuperblydoublethetroubleanddeliciously HOT. his other qualities, like his incredible acting skills and his personality? don't really matter. HAHA. actually it does matter to me. if i like an actor, he is well-balanced, personality-wise. and Jake is balanced, alright. he's really charming, polite, FUNNY, and just plain gorgeous. he COOKS too (omigawd! awhhsumm). sense of humour is a crucial thing. if an actor is as bland as my morning coffee, then he just doesn't cut it for me.

but what exactly do i know about him, right?

well, it would be a hell of an awesome occasion for me if i get to meet Jake personally. but because i'm not as lucky as most actresses who have worked with him, i can't. so, i'm depending on Youtube videos, magazine articles and numerous interviews of Jake to find out about his traits. and he is indeed, a very fine lad. he is exactly what i've mentioned above. his sense of humour is light and not vulgar.

and his acting skills? undeniably tremendous. he even had an Academy Award nomination at quite a young age (24 yrs old) and won a BAFTA for his role in the critically-acclaimed film 'Brokeback Mountain'. quoting a presenter from a tv program ; "even though Jake doesn't take himself too seriously on the red carpet, the same thing cannot be said about his performance in films; he has done quite captivating movies and his dilligence for making movies is astounding. Jake has always chosen his roles wisely; he opts for characters that are both challenging and hard to get."
