That Touch

the way he smiles at you made you think that everything's alright. the way he said he loved you, made you feel elated. the way his hands felt against yours, no words can describe it. and when you looked into his eyes, you believed that the world stopped for just a split second. and you felt that you would not blink. all that you wanted was to look into the eyes of the person who brought you to life again.

she sighs heavily as she read the last sentence of that book. she closed her eyes and dreamed far away. she was envy of the girl in the book. that girl had nothing, except love. she wondered if the girl lived happily ever after. she would like to think so. and her heart beats weaker than a person who is about to lose his life. she has not lived that long. but how she longed for the touch of another human being. another stranger that she fell in love with and who fell in love with her. the stranger that she could trust. the stranger that she recognized and knew by heart. the stranger who is not anymore, a stranger. for he, truly cares and will always be there for her. she opened her eyes and they were misty from tears that glistened until below her cheek. she smiled as she thought of her dreams. dreams that will come true on one fine day. but she just have to wait. and wait she does, reluctantly and patiently.
