well, here i am, telling you how i got there. by lrt of course. bcs, you'd have to be dumb to go to the stadium by car. there's like tens of thousands of ppl going to the same destination as you are. you'll feel entitled to ride the public transport, naturally. since the match started at 5.30 pm, my dad thought it best to go there 2 hours earlier. i thought he was crazy. but turns out he made the right choice.
it's really great that we got the hottest seats, bcs they are numbered and we don't have to chase for the best seats in the stadium, like any other ppl. after riding on the SIXTH train (yes, we waited 30 whole minutes for the train with the fewest ppl as to not get sandwiched by others), we arrived just in time for asar prayers. just as expected, almost everybody wore red shirts, 70 maybe 80 percent wore man utd jerseys. we're not avid fans, but might as well go red as the other folks. then we bought these man utd goodies like the red devils' headband. totally evil :)
i thought the stadium would be really loud, but i think a concert would be louder. it was pretty loud though. but i just blend in and cheered with them.
red red red galore :)
that's michael owen on the screen, though you cnt
rly see him. dnt worry, he's totally hot! :DD
that day was really fun and i enjoyed myself thoroughly. i even met dr fadzilah kamsah that night on dinner at a hotel. didn't greet him though. what do you expect? his whole family was there. i'd be as red as my shirt :)
well, that's it for now, not much. but i can tell you i had a great day. hope i'll be having a lot of great days for years to come. it's totally cheesy, but i'm crossing my fingers and toes for them :)
