White Lies and Deceiving Eyes

So, today's topic is cheating.

I still shake my head over this one, because I'm still confused. I don't understand why people do it. Cheating, in every sense of the word, isn't okay. It's somewhat of a disease. Once you do it, you'll descend into a world full of lies, heartbreaks and empty promises. Now, is that what you want in life?

Mostly, we'll hear stories about guys who cheat on their girlfriends/wives. That's because girls like to tell their stories; they want people to listen. What we don't know is that girls cheat too, except the guys who they cheated on don't kiss and tell.

They don't want to relive those painful moments. And maybe girls don't too, but they want to forget, so letting everything go would mean that they'll move on and mend their own broken hearts.

Before you cheat; think. Just think of the consequences. Why do it? If you're unhappy, then leave. Why make it worse for the other person? It's kind of ironic how you promise your lover that you'll never hurt them, only to break your godforsaken promise and do the one thing you vowed not to do. You're selfish, and you're mean. You're undeserving of love.

You're choosing to have an affair with someone. Someone who knows that you're cheating. Someone who would do the exact same thing to you. He/she will leave you. Maybe not now, but someday, they will. Now ask yourself, why give up on the person that loves you the most, over some creep who will disappear in the morning?

Maybe it's easier for you to spend the night at that person's house, rather than to deal with your crumbling relationship. And if that's the case, go on and give yourself a nice smack on the head; you earn it. Man up and talk. Don't hide away from your problems. If you really think that you can't be in this relationship anymore, your lover would appreciate it more if you would explain, rather than to catch you kissing someone else.

I hate the fact that Kirsten Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson. Maybe I'm not a fan of Robert, but no one deserves to be treated that way. I hope your career will go down the drain for this. Kristen. Phew. I gave up my studying time for this. I'm too lazy to revise anatomy!
