Epic Fashion Discovery

I just love Tumblr, you know.

But now, I can't really tell you how I feel about Tumblr. It used to be the solution to my lonely days, the highlight of each passing hour. But after I've found an amazing Tumblr page, I think I have fallen in love.

Dramatic sentences aside, I have great news.

Lookbook has a Tumblr page. A Tumblr page, yes!

People have their own interests. Some are inspired by music, others are intrigued by politicians and authors. But I just adore fashion. It's something that gets me excited, something that makes me satisfied. It's one of my passions, among others. I squeal or widen my eyes when I see a genius fashion alteration that is inspired by the 1960's, for example. Really, it gets me going. Sometimes, (and I know this is weird) I go into a clothes store and I would look at the pieces of clothing and try to match them to make an awesome outfit.

It's okay if no one gets me, but yeah I'm just being myself.

So anyway, undoubtedly, I clicked on the follow button. I never looked back since then. It was sort of the best decision I've ever made since I created a Tumblr account. Needless to say, Tumblr got me hooked for hours in a day.

Here are some of the coolest outfits (in my opinion) that are also my personal favourites.

Loving the skirt. Effortlessly chic and casual. Her legs look great!

I love EVERYTHING about this outfit. The studded red blazer gives the whole look an edge, the accessories are not overly done and the girl is absolutely stunning. Love the little frilly skirt too, as well as the shoes and bag!

Less is always more, just like this look. Loving the yellow top, and the gladiator sandals add the perfect touch to this ensemble.

I just realized that I've described all the outfits like those in fashion magazines. Oh Lord, I've been reading too many Seventeen magazines and I apologize for that. Lol.

This one isn't from Lookbook, but I love it. I'm guessing that she's wearing a jumpsuit underneath the knitted see-through shirt. I must say, the medium-sized clutch is tres chic :D

This outfit is just too adorable! Not sure if that's an oversized tee or dress, but it's really cute. Belt for a cinched waist, casual and comfy-looking shoes as well the quirky yellow shades are spot-on. Great look!

Another non-Lookbook outfit. I don't know about you, but I'm dying to get myself a mustard cardigan and/or blazer! It sparkles up any outfit, especially the boring black and white ones. Just look at this one, it's just amazing, and not OTT.

I don't take inspiration from the internationally-recognized fashion designers like Diane Von Furstenberg (I love her though), Marc Jacobs or John Galliano, because let's face it. I will never be able to afford those designer stuff. Lookbook is the place I turn to, although some of them do occasionally sport a Marc Jacobs bag or a Valentino gown.

Normal people and their incredible fashion sense are my inspiration. I love the way they express themselves.

Psst. tonight is Nisfu Sya'ban. Salam Nisfu Sya'ban everyone :) May Allah bless us all, InsyaAllah.

xoxo
Zafirah.
