When was the last time you've listen to real music?
The truth is, no one can be sure of what real music is today. And also, I'm tired of listening to Miley Cyrus all the time. She's a crappy singer but people just couldn't stop buying her albums. Why not waste your money on a decent singer for once? Like this guy right here. His name is Afgansyah Reza and he's a singer from Indonesia.
And he can beat Miley Cyrus in a singing competition by a landslide.
I first listened to his songs just a few days ago to be honest, and I heard about him from (surprisingly) my mum, who got to know his songs from the tv. And so like every other sensible being out there, I Googled him. His voice is incredibly poignant and tender. He's not someone who shows off their voice by screaming all the time (you hear me, Lambert? I like you but please stop yelling for awhile). Afgan's simple, but engaging.
It's not a bad thing that he's cute. Who doesn't like dimples anyway?
Hollywood may be fun and entertaining. But sometimes it's best to walk out of the party atmosphere from the Westerners and just enjoy Eastern music. Seriously, Afgan's good. Pretty damn good. The Indonesian blood running through my veins can't help but root for the guy from our neighbouring country.
Frankly though, I'm actually considering of going to Adam Lambert's concert. So what if I'm a hypocrite? It doesn't cost you a thing.
